Tree service helps to grow community
Allen’s Tree Service Inc. (ATSI) has been providing Central Georgia with tree removal, tree trimming and stump grinding services since 1978. In that time, owner Caulion Allen has found ways to grow not only his business, but the Christian community, as well.
From the start of his career, Allen desired to reflect Christ in the way he managed his company. As a result, he has always given 10 percent of his company’s earnings to Christian ministries both locally and abroad. Allen has also led a weekly Bible Study for 10+ years that meets every Tuesday at 6am. The Bible Study is open to the public and usually has an average attendance of about 15 people each week.
In 2003, ATSI’s current office location was constructed with his weekly Bible Study in mind. The building was designed with a full kitchen and conference room to accommodate the Tuesday morning gatherings. Allen’s daughter and ATSI office manager, Amy Dean, offers her support by preparing a hearty breakfast each week including biscuits, cheese grits, assorted fruits and coffee. She emphasizes the importance of the attendees being fed both spiritually and physically.
