The campus was recently a 2015 Merit Award winner in the Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Competition as a nod to their technologically advanced addition. The addition includes custom-built advanced technology air purification units, stainless steel food preparation stations, a central pressure washer and vacuum system, larger kennels, and a commercial rack dishwasher that sterilizes food bowls in 90 seconds. The facility also boasts an exceptionally spacious outdoor yard for dogs to enjoy supervised group play.
Perhaps the most impressive feature of FRAH can be found in the exam rooms. Each exam room hosts a series of monitors used to show clients their pet’s X-rays, ultrasound images and educational clips. As Dr. Lowe wrote on the hospital’s home website, “FRAH focuses on client education and making the client an integral informed partner on the pet Health Care Team.
