“Listening to the vision a homeowner or business executive has for his/her particular space is critical in identifying the proper surface that will satisfy the customer’s needs long-term,” according to McLain. “Then once we begin the fabrication process, our attention to detail has to be beyond reproach. One little mistake can be costly, both literally and figuratively. Having to absorb the cost of an expensive slab is obviously painful. But if the snafu were to cause the installation to be delayed, customer expectations are then negatively impacted.”

More often than not, Rock-it City Granite works in tandem with builders and/or cabinet makers to schedule a customer’s installation. Relationships and good communication are key in getting to the finish line. McLain takes pride in this coordination of effort and meeting the proposed date of installation. “It can ultimately make or break our reputation.”
