501(c)(3) Charity

Kids to Love Foundation

Rescuing foster children is a passion for Kids to Love Foundation founder and CEO, Lee Marshall, who was a former foster and adoptive child herself. Since 2004 this 501(c)(3) charity has reached over 250,000 foster children. The organization works diligently on a daily basis to match foster children with forever families. But even if these children don’t find a family, they still succeed through a wide variety of educational programs.

Each summer over 5,000 children in Tennessee and Alabama are equipped with backpacks filled with school supplies. Then in the spring of each year, the foundation awards college scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Worth noting…553 scholarships have been awarded since 2005. In 2016, Kids to Love launched KTECH, a mechatronics/advanced manufacturing training program fro young adults living in foster care, as well as Huntsville/Madison County residents. Last year KTECH expanded its curriculum to incorporate soldering and robotics classes. KTECH students also participate in LifeLab, a program which develops and promotes life skills.

At Christmas each year, thousands of foster children are sponsored through this wonderful charity, and they can always use volunteers to wrap, etc.

Kids to Love Foundation is also affiliated with Davidson Farms, a foster home for tween and teen girls ages 10-19. You can learn more about these and other programs on their website kidstolove.org.
