TV Station

Huntsville has been praised as a Best Place to Live by Relocate Magazine, and is a center for science, technology, and high-tech development. Since the launch of the US Space Program in Huntsville over 50 years ago, Huntsville and the Tennessee valley have skyrocketed with explosive growth, and are home to sporting events, top-flight music and theatrical performances, fishing tournaments, art and science museums, public parks, and historic homes and sites. Four universities, a military base, the Marshall Flight Center, and numerous high-tech and manufacturing companies insure a diverse population and growth for years to come.

WZDX-FOX and My8 are proud to be part of this thriving city. WZDX-FOX brings you sports year-round, from the BCS series and NFL Playoffs to Nascar, SEC Basketball, Major League Baseball, SEC Football, and NFL Sundays. We also bring you the #1 primetime on television, with American Idol, House, Bones, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, Cops, America’s Most Wanted, and Sunday Animation Domination. The #1 comedy in syndication, Two and a Half Men, airs weeknights at 6pm, and WZDX-FOX has the Tennessee Valley’s ONLY Local Primetime News at 9:00pm. Talk shows and courtroom drama round out our schedule, and our Saturday Morning Kid’s Block provides child-friendly programming every week. We reach over 382,000 households in the Tennessee Valley.

My8 is our sister station, and the Tennessee Valley’s MyNetworkTV affiliate. My 8 airs original primetime programming, great movies, daytime talk shows, and popular family sitcoms, as well as SEC Basketball and other special events. This fall, we will be the new home of WWE Smackdown.

WZDX-FOX is a leader in community involvement. As sponsors of The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, The MWR Concert, Panoply, the Blount Hospitality House Rudolph Run, Toys for Tots, and other community events, FOX 54 has helped raise money and awareness for Tennessee Valley charities and their causes. We are proud to serve our viewers, and welcome your comments and criticisms. Our goal is to be your sports, entertainment, and community involvement leader.
